A new UC-eLinks service, Check Reviews or Availability, allows you to look for reader reviews and learn whether a book is available for purchase. The service appears in the UC-eLinks menu whenever a bibliographic record contains an International Standard Book Number (ISBN).

There are three choices for the service: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Global Books in Print. All three resources frequently contain detailed descriptions, tables of contents, and reviews. For some titles, Amazon lets you "Search Inside!"™ the book.

Amazon and Barnes & Noble allow online ordering with a variety of delivery options for commonly sought book titles. Global Books in Print displays a book's availability in the United States and other world markets and is particularly useful in cases where works originally published outside the United States have not yet been released for sale in America.
